Pastor Donna T. Lucas grew up in Acworth, Georgia all of her life. In fact, she graduated from North Cobb High School in 1982 and was voted as the “Most Talented Girl” in her class. She pursued her collegiate career at Reinhardt College, from which she is a graduate, and later Brenau University in Gainesville, Georgia where she graduated from with her Bachelor degree in Music Education. She has worked extensively in the Gospel music industry as a disc jockey, a booking agent, and worked for Rex Nelon – one of Gospel music’s largest publishing holders for over ten years. She has recorded three solo albums to her own credit herself. Pastor Donna has always had a call to ministry upon her life from a very young age and will quickly tell you the most important decision she ever made was to give her heart to Jesus. She worked in two different United Methodist churches for a total of eighteen years and is now an ordained Elder in the Evangelical Methodist Church. She holds a certification in Christian counseling. She knows what it is like to face adversity, having experienced the death of her first-born son in December of 1988 and her beloved husband, Howard, in November 2000. “Through it all, Christ has been so faithful to me! He has taken such good care of me and is taking care of me and I praise Him!”, she says. Pastor Donna still resides in Acworth, GA along with her mother, Vera, who lives with her. Her family consists of her son, Noah, and daughter-in-law – Jenna, and her grandchildren, Cambrie and Lincoln. She is often called upon to be a guest speaker and singer at women’s conferences and retreats.
